Mr. Hemmings received his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California Polytechnical State University in San Luis Obispo and his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law.  During law school, he served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Judge Matusnika, Torrance Superior Court.

Prior to joining the firm, he was a managing shareholder at a large statewide workers compensation defense firm for 20 years where he aggressively and successfully represented both private and public employers in all facets of workers' compensation.

Mr. Hemmings is a Certified Specialist in California Workers’ Compensation Law and has spoken at numerous workers' compensation seminars, and has presented for insurance companies, self-insured employers, claims organizations, and attorneys, covering a breadth of workers’ compensation topics and changes in statutory and case law.

In his free time, Aaron is an avid supporter of Wounded Warriors Project, Episcopal Relief & Development, and non-profit organizations designed to assist children with special needs. He also enjoys surfing, hiking and traveling. And he is die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan.
