Bethe Barkley graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and in Dance. She was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, an honors society that recognizes students who excel in scholarship, loyalty and service, and Phi Sigma Tau, an international honor society for philosophy students.
She then went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, where she participated in Moot Court and was an editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review. Ms. Barkley began her workers’ compensation career at a large, statewide defense firm where she worked her way through the ranks as associate, to managing attorney, and then ultimately to Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Greater Los Angeles office for a span of 21 years.
As the Managing Partner for CBE Law Group, Ms. Barkley brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the firm. She is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation law. Further, she is at the forefront of industry developments, including caselaw and legislative updates in the rapidly changing field.
Outside of work, Bethe enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and reading
