Eva Carrasco was born and raised in Southern California. Prior to joining CBE Law Group, she had a varied legal background in immigration defense, criminal defense, and workers’ compensation defense. She has also engaged in federal court litigation, wherein she successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Carrasco obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Political Science and Policy Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles, and obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Carrasco is admitted to the California State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
While in law school, Ms. Carrasco earned a prestigious clerkship at the Los Angeles Superior Court with the Honorable Judge Aurelio Munoz and later with the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles.
Ms. Carrasco’s expansive practice of law has enabled her to draw a unique approach on the handling of workers' compensation claims, and insight into the strategy and goals of defense attorneys. Ms. Carrasco has appeared before WCABs throughout Southern California, representing her clients' interests at hearings, trials, depositions, and at informal conferences. She is well versed in matters involving Public Entity Litigation, Transportation & Trucking and Labor Code §132a, and Labor Code §4850.
Ms. Carrasco speaks Spanish fluently.
