Alina Mirzaian is a Senior workers’ compensation defense attorney who represents insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and self-insured employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation. She is known for practical, cost-conscious strategy and responsive communication, partnering closely with claims professionals to align litigation strategy with case goals.  

Prior to joining CBE Law Group, Ms. Mirzaian practiced workers’ compensation defense at Bradford & Barthel, handling cases-in-chief matters and related litigation.  

Before focusing on workers’ compensation defense, Ms. Mirzaian served as a Staff Attorney with Inner-City Law Center’s Homeless Veterans Project, advocating for veterans in VA claims benefits matters and military discharge upgrade proceedings. She also brings more than a decade of volunteer service as a Claims Agent and is accredited by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Office of General Counsel as an Accredited Veteran Claims Attorney.  

Ms. Mirzaian holds a B.S. in Business Management, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Organizational Behavior, a J.D., and a master’s degree in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Caruso Law.  Before her legal career, Ms. Mirzaian worked in commercial contracts management, advising on negotiation strategy and risk mitigation at Motorola Solutions Inc. and World Oil Corp.  

Outside of practice, Ms. Mirzaian is committed to pro bono service for the veteran community; a commitment driven by her personal journey and in tribute to her late brother, a proud U.S. Army veteran. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Bella and Sofia.
