Diana graduated from University of Southern California, magna cum laude, receiving two Bachelor's degrees: in Russian and Philosophy of Science. She then obtained her JD degree from Loyola Law School in May of 2000 and became an attorney in December of 2000. In 2000 and 2001 Diana worked for the RAND Corporation as a researcher for a project thoroughly examining the California workers compensation system, from its inception forward. That study resulted in multiple subsequent reforms. While in law school, she specialized in intellectual property, taxation, and entertainment law. Diana had also assisted Professor Ellen April in establishing a tax LLM program at Loyola Law School. She then worked in-house for film production companies at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.
From 2001 until now Diana has represented a wide variety of employers, carriers, and TPA's, in connection with all aspects of workers compensation defense. For over two decades she has represented multiple airlines, hospital and restaurant groups, temp agencies, payroll companies, self-insured and uninsured employers, as well as clients in automobile and entertainment industries. In addition, she represented employers directly, hired to monitor/oversee the work conducted by other law firms, and as a result, had come up with significant cost saving and creative strategies in achieving favorable outcomes in complex cases, moving them to dismissal, settlement and closure. Diana is fluent in Russian and Armenian. She studied French in college.
Since 2005, she has completed many projects as a professional photographer and videographer (using a variety of cameras and drones to capture portraits, commercials, live events and music videos). She is interested in developing new tech ventures and has been extensively studying their healing impact on hospital patients and employees that are susceptible to mental and physical trauma, chronic pain, weight gain, and failed conventional methods of treatment. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and attending festivals.
