Nick Haws grew up in Tulare County and later moved to Carmel, California. He attended California State University, Chico, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology with an emphasis in Ethics, Justice, and Policy. During his time at Chico, Nick completed an internship with the Community Legal Information Clinic (CLIC), serving two semesters in the Housing Department and one semester with the Community Jail Law Project, where he responded to inmate correspondence at Butte County Jail. He graduated in 2023 and also holds a Paralegal Certificate. Nick brings a strong foundation in legal research and client support to his role at CBE Law Group.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing guitar, pursuing his goal of reading 12 books in 12 months, and staying active. He also follows Formula 1 racing and is a fan of Carlos Sainz.
