Background

Mr. Everett was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from John Carroll University in 1997 and his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in 2007.

Mr. Everett’s legal experience includes successful trials of workers’ compensation matters before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board; resolution of claims of serious injury; defense of claims for discrimination under Labor Code section 132a; advice and counseling on issues of workplace injury or disability of employees, including conducting workplace investigations. In addition to matters before the WCAB, Mr. Everett has successfully represented employers before other state agencies, including the EEOC, the DFEH, the Labor Commissioner, and the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. He has also litigated employment matters in civil court.

Mr. Everett currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two young sons. While he has lived on the West Coast since 2000, he remains an avid Cleveland Browns fan.
