Raquel Otañez is a Southern California native, who exhibited an interest in the legal field from her secondary education to present. She received a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach. From 2017-2019, she made the Dean’s List for outstanding academic excellence. Furthermore, she was invited to join the Honors Society for Political Science.
Raquel has worked in the Workers’ Compensation field for over four years. She welcomes new challenges and feels they can embody a strong work ethic.
Although she was born and raised in Southern California, Raquel is proud of her Mexican heritage, which adds to her well-rounded personality. In her free time, Raquel enjoys working out and boxing. She also enjoys traveling and attending music festivals.
